Blessed are those who are persecuted and suffer because of His name.
Many Christians, here, in North America, have no idea how tough it is for believers to practice their faith in other parts of the world.
Here, we believe in freedom of religion and we don't torture people for daring to believe in something else.
To the best of my knowledge, no one has been killed for "offending Christianity" , even though, there are plenty of examples of offending not only Christianity but Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
