Tired of Political Correctness

One of my greatest pet peeves, in the days we live in, is not being able to express my opinion freely and without any fear of offending somebody.
And by free opinion, I do not mean loose and irresponsible chattering.
No, not at all.

You see, I have reached a level of personal development in my life that is characterized by certain principles and what I believe to be unshakable truths which I am prepared to defend  at any appreciable cost. Because of this, many individuals of certain lifestyles, political ideologies, religious worldviews, etc. etc. may find my comments offensive in one form or another.

I am a committed , born again Christian who believes in freedom of religion, the sanctity of human life and the right of every human being to live their lives as they deem fit as long as those rights do not encroach upon the rights of others. All individual rights need to be balanced against our duties and responsibilities we have towards the greater societal good.

My intentions are very clear: I will use this blog in the best way I know to bring glory and honor to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In the process, I may say things and defend positions that many of the readers may not like. To those readers, I say, "if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen".

For me, Jesus is the only standard for what is right and good, beautiful and honorable, loving and compassionate. May the Holy Spirit guide me in the paths of righteousness and truth as I embark into this new venture In His Service.
