Thanks to its foreign minister, Turkey has no idea what is going on in its troublesome neighbor, Syria, writes Metin Munir in the Turkish paper Milliyet.
Turkish public opinion is ill-informed and vulnerable to manipulation. Ahmed Davutoglu has ruined what was once a solid and well-defined foreign policy, and Turkey will pay a heavy price for that.
----------------------------
Iran and Syria will support the PKK more and more as Turkey continues its backing of the anti-Assad Free Syrian Army. As a result, the Kurdish problems will be magnified with a greater push towards an independent Kurdish state.
Davutoglu better get back to his senses for Turkey and Erdogan will suffer some serious and irreparable damage.
