Obama Praises Muslims for ‘Building the Very Fabric of Our Nation’

Following on the heels of his Homeland Security adviser, Barack Hussein Obama praised Muslims for “building the very fabric of our nation” on Sunday.

Obama made the statement as Muslims around the world celebrate Eid-al-Fitr. In his remarks, Obama said, “Michelle and I extend our warmest wishes to them and their families.  This last month has been a time of fasting, reflection, spiritual renewal, and service to the less fortunate.”

“While Eid marks the completion of Ramadan, it also celebrates the common values that unite us in our humanity and reinforces the obligations that people of all faiths have to each other, especially those impacted by poverty, conflict, and disease.”
No, it does not. The institute of Islam does not reinforce the obligations of Christianity, Judaism or any other religion. In fact, Islam is expressly against Christianity and Judaism.

Mohamed taught his followers:
Quran (2:216) - Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.”
Quran (3:151) - “Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority.”

Quran (5:33) - “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement”
Quran (8:12) - “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”  No reasonable person would interpret this to mean a spiritual struggle.
Quran (9:29) - “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.”

Quran (9:30) - “And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!”

Quran (9:73) - “O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination.”

Quran (9:123) - “O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness.”

Quran (17:16) - “And when We wish to destroy a town, We send Our commandment to the people of it who lead easy lives, but they transgress therein; thus the word proves true against it, so We destroy it with utter destruction.”

And what if you are one of those self-proclaimed, non-existent “peaceful” Muslims? Well, the Quran has something for you too:
Quran (4:95) - “Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward…”
However, it was not just the lie that Obama told that stands out. He went on to state, “In the United States, Eid also reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy.”

Say, what? This smacks of the very nonsense that DHS adviser and imam Mohamed Elibiary tried to pass off as America being an Islamic nation, its Constitution being Islamic compliant and that Islam is the antidote to terrorism. Elibiary has claimed that Muslims have had a significant influence on the founding and fabric of the nation as well.

First, let’s correct Obama. America is a republic, not a democracy.

Second, to claim that the fabric of America is made up from “achievements and contributions of Muslims” is not only factually incorrect, it is a blatant lie. Think back if you will. Name great achievements and contributions by Muslims to the fabric of America. Up until Rep. Keith Ellison‘s election, American never had a Muslim representative in Washington. Even more telling is that Ellison sits on the board of a Sodomite and gender confused organization! No my friends, Islam is not really a part of the fabric of America. It is a cancer to the soul of America.

What I wonder is why neither Obama or Elibiary will talk of the real influence of Islam upon the United States? Why are they silent on the Barbary Pirates? Why are they silent on the jizya imposed upon our nation during that same time? Why are they silent on Somali pirates who have taken our people hostage and murdered scores of Americans? I’ll tell you why, it’s called taqiyya (Muslim deception). Taqiyya is used to gain an advantage against unbelievers in order to overthrow them and advance the caliphate (Islamic state).

Finally, Obama tells a blatant lie that should turn the stomach of every Christian and Jew not only in America, but the world.
“That is why we stand with people of all faiths, here at home and around the world, to protect and advance their rights to prosper, and we welcome their commitment to giving back to their communities,” Obama said.

He ended his statement with “Eid Mubarak,” which is also known as Salat al-Eid and Salat-al-Eidain, which are the special prayer to commemorate the two Islamic festivals of Ramadan, which Obama has forced America’s military to observe. Where is the Freedom from Religion Foundation on this?

All I hear is crickets.
Does Obama look like he is standing for patriotic Americans who want the law to be followed and who have given their lives in the defense of America? Does he stand for those that adhere to the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the only Word of God? Does Obama look like he cares one bit for the tens of thousands of Christians being raped, pillaged, forced to pay Islamic taxes and murdered in the name of Allah? Does Obama seem to give a single thought to the thousands of Israelis who are constantly defending themselves from attack, yet he and his administration make them out to be the bad guys and want them to be the only ones making concessions while their enemies concede nothing?

No, my friend, Obama stands apart from all these people. He does not stand with “people of all faiths.” He stands with the Muslims, period. And this should come as no surprise when Obama has only a 39% approval rating overall (still shocked at that number), but among Muslims, he has a 72% approval rating.

‘We Will Not Tolerate Your Religion!’ School Fires Scientist for Questioning Evolution

LOS ANGELES – A legal defense organization filed a lawsuit this week against California State University, alleging that the school fired a biologist for discovering scientific evidence that contradicted evolutionary theory.

Mark Armitage was a scientist at California State University—Northridge (CSUN), where he worked as a researcher and supervised the school’s electron microscope laboratory. He was also a member of several scientific organizations, including the Microscopy Society of America, the American Society of Parasitologists, and the Southern California Academy of Sciences.

However, CSUN suddenly terminated Armitage’s employment two years ago after he discovered soft tissue on a Triceratops fossil. Evolutionists at the university were evidently displeased by Armitage’s discovery, since they were convinced that the fossil was tens of millions of years old.

Even though Armitage’s findings were published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, the university decided to fire him, saying his findings were unacceptable. According to Armitage, his supervisor entered the lab and declared, “We will not tolerate your religion in this department!”

Yes, Christians Spew the Most 'Hateful Internet Speech'

When it comes to hateful Internet speech, Christians are the worst. That's the headline of an article by Washington Post columnist and OnFaith founder Sally Quinn. If the headline didn't get your attention, the teaser for the op-ed might. It reads: "Thanks to horrible Christian comments online, I realized there's a big difference between being Christian and following Jesus."

"The first hate emails I received were horrible. They did not just attack what I wrote—which was usually about spirituality more than religion—but were also vicious ad hominem attacks. I can't tell you how many people wrote in to say that I was a whore and a slut and so much worse that I can't even write it here," Quinn writes.

"And these all came from Christians. I was going to hell. I had made a pact with the devil. Jesus and God hated me. One man wrote that he hoped I would get in a car accident, that the gas tank would explode and I would be burned alive. He was a God-fearing Christian, and he ascertained that I obviously was not one."

I couldn't agree more. It seems Quinn and I share a similar experience: hatred spewing from the keyboards of commenters who claim to be Christians. I can't judge anyone's salvation from a comment board, but I can attest to the vile vitriol that plagues my inbox, my Facebook page, and many of my articles.

Convert, Pay or Die: Iraq Christians Flee Islamists

Jihadists from the Islamic State have forced Christians to flee Mosul, Iraq's second largest city.
The terrorists issued Christians an ultimatum: they can convert to Islam, pay a protection tax, or face death.

According to MidEast Christian News, the IS rulers ordered hospitals to dismiss Christian doctors and female employees. The report says extremists also marked the houses of Christians as "Property of the Islamic State."

By the time the deadline imposed by the Islamic State expired, most Christians were gone. Mosul, where Christianity has existed for nearly 2,000 years, was now virtually "free of Christians."

As Christian families drove out of the city some reported being stopped at IS check points and robbed of gold earrings, cell phones, and other valuables.
With their few remaining possessions, most believers fled to the nearby self-ruled Kurdish region or other areas protected by Kurdish security forces.
Residents in Mosul say militants are occupying churches and seizing the homes of Christians who have fled the city.

Mosul's Christian community goes back nearly 2,000 years.
Before the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003, some 100,000 Christians lived there. Today, it's believed there are fewer than 200.

Pope Francis has expressed concern for Christians forced to flee Mosul.
The pontiff in his traditional Angelus blessing on Sunday offered prayers for Iraqi Christians who "are persecuted, chased away, forced to leave their houses without the possibility of taking anything" with them.

Francis also called for dialogue to resolve armed conflicts around the world, especially in the Middle East and Ukraine, emphasizing "violence is not overcome with violence. Violence is overcome with peace.

The Moon Communion Of Buzz Aldrin That NASA Didn't Want To Broadcast

45 years ago, man landed on the moon.
As Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin prepared to take "one small step for man," Aldrin wanted to commemorate the moment in a way he found most personally meaningful -- by taking communion.
Aldrin, a church elder at Webster Presbyterian Church in Webster, Texas, at the time, spoke to his pastor Dean Woodruff to try to find a way to symbolize the wonder and awe of the moon landing a few weeks before lift-off. Aldrin said, "We wanted to express our feeling that what man was doing in this mission transcended electronics and computers and rockets."
The communion bread and wine, symbols of everyday life, seemed to be a fitting way to commemorate the extraordinary moment. Woodruff equipped Aldrin with a piece of communion bread, a sip of wine, and a tiny silver chalice which he brought aboard as part of the few personal items each astronaut is allowed.
Aldrin wrote about the experience a year later, for Guideposts magazine:
In a little while after our scheduled meal period, Neil would give the signal to step down the ladder onto the powdery surface of the moon. Now was the moment for communion.
So I unstowed the elements in their flight packets. I put them and the scripture reading on the little table in front of the abort guidance system computer.
Then I called back to Houston.
“Houston, this is Eagle. This is the LM Pilot speaking. I would like to request a few moments of silence. I would like to invite each person listening in, wherever and whomever he may be, to contemplate for a moment the events of the past few hours and to invite each person listening, wherever and whomever he may be, to contemplate for a moment the events of the past few hours and to give thanks in his own individual way.”
...
In the radio blackout I opened the little plastic packages which contained bread and wine.
I poured the wine into the chalice our church had given me. In the one-sixth gravity of the moon the wine curled slowly and gracefully up the side of the cup. It was interesting to think that the very first liquid ever poured on the moon, and the first food eaten there, were communion elements.
Before taking communion, Aldrin silently read a passage from the Bible, which he had hand written on a piece of paper: “I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me, and I in him, will bear much fruit; for you can do nothing without me” (John 15:5).

He originally wanted for the experience to be broadcast with the rest of his comments, but was discouraged by NASA, which was at the time fighting a lawsuit brought by atheist activist Madalyn Murray O'Hair. She sued them over the public reading of Genesis by the crew of Apollo 8, citing the status of astronauts as government employees and the separation of church and state to support her case.

Looking back on that moment, Aldrin reflected in his memoir that perhaps he should have chosen a more universal way of commemorating the achievement, a first for all humankind.
“Perhaps if I had it to do over again, I would not choose to celebrate communion,” he wrote. “Although it was a deeply meaningful experience for me, it was a Christian sacrament, and we had come to the moon in the name of all mankind—be they Christians, Jews, Muslims, animists, agnostics, or atheists. But at the time I could think of no better way to acknowledge the enormity of the Apollo 11 experience than by giving thanks to God.”

Questions Over Why Malaysian Plane Flew Over Ukrainian Warzone

As the world tries to cope with the tragic loss of almost 300 people in the apparent downing of a Malaysian Airlines plane over Ukraine, questions have arisen over why the civil aircraft was directed over a war zone.
MH17, carrying passengers from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed on Thursday in Ukraine’s Donetsk Region, the scene of intensive battles between Ukrainian troops and local militias defying Kiev’s rule. In the last several days the militias scored a number of successes, including the reported downing of three Ukrainian military aircraft.

Michael Youssef Explains What Iraqi Islamists Really Want

ISIS, which has conquered vast portions of Syria and Iraq, has now declared itself to be the new Islamic caliphate. There has been no caliphate (an Islamic state led by a "successor" to Muhammad) since 1916, after the end of more than 400 years of Turk-enforced rule over a resentful but helpless Arab world.
Since then, most Sunni Muslims have informally recognized the legitimate successor of the prophet Muhammad to be the king of Saudi Arabia, whom they call the "Guardian of the Two Holy Places."
But in recent years, many rival factions have risen across the Islamic world, each claiming to be the one to bring about the legitimate succession.
The Muslim Brotherhood, supported by Turkey and Qatar, is one faction.
Al-Qaida, and particularly Osama bin Laden at one time, had also hoped to be recognized as such.
But now, a far more bloodthirsty group has upstaged those and many other Islamic factions. What was first known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), but lately just calls itself the Islamic State, has declared itself to be the rightful caliphate and is now commanding the allegiance of all other smaller factions.

ISIL Members Dig Up Grave of Biblical Prophet Jonah, Torch 11 Churches as Christian Population Rapidly Shrinks in Iraq

A local Nineveh official in Iraq confirmed last Friday with almost certainty that militant members of the Islamic state in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) dug up the grave of revered biblical prophet Jonah (Younis in Arabic) in the east of Mosul as Christians continue to flee that country by the hundreds daily.

In an Iraqi News report, the official, Zuhair al-Chalabi said since ISIL militants invaded Mosul, they have controlled the mosque of Jonah and have strong evidence suggesting that his grave has been disturbed.
"The elements of ISIL controlled the mosque of the Prophet Younis in Mosul since they invaded the city. It is still held by them until now," said Chalabi, explaining that "elements of ISIL engaged in the process of tampering with the contents of the Mosque."
"There is almost certain information stating the fact that the elements of ISIL dug up the grave of the Prophet Younis," he added.
Christian leaders in Iraq insist that Muslims and Christians have lived peacefully together for a long time but fear the current violence could hasten the end of nearly 2,000 years of Christianity in Iraq.

The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven: The Story Behind the Story

New York Times Bestselling Book, The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven: A Remarkable Account of Miracles, Angels, and Life beyond This World—The Story Behind the Story
by Hank Hanegraaff

Backstory. Subsequent to three-year-old Colton Burpo’s return from heaven, six-year-old Alex Malarkey traveled there as well. As such, The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven (Tyndale, 2010) purports to be the true story of Alex’s direct experience with angels, demons, and, yes, the devil himself. Along the way he is alleged to have encountered “one hundred and fifty pure, white angels with fantastic wings, green demons with long fingernails and hair made of fire, and an earless devil, replete with three heads, a nasty nose, and moldy teeth.”
Like Colton, Alex was allegedly permitted to see God.  But in sharp distinction, he was not permitted to see God’s face. As Alex is alleged to have written, “I was in the presence of God. He had a body that was like a human body, but it was a lot bigger. I could only see up to His neck because, like the Bible says, nobody is allowed to see God’s face or that person will die.”
Story behind the story. According to Alex’s mother—his precious care-taker—these words are not the words of Alex at all. As she put it in a Facebook message to me, “Hank, my son is being exploited…My son has tried to speak (as best he could) on the wrongs of this book but he has been silenced.”
After surviving a horrific car accident, being in a coma for two months, and to this day continuing to struggle with the after effects of brain trauma, Alex cares more deeply about truth than he cares about himself. Even though the most expedient thing to do is to promote the published story, Alex and his mother are deeply committed to communicate truth instead. Here is in part what she wrote in her letter to me:
Dear Hank,

My name is Beth Malarkey. I am the mom of Alex Malarkey who is the subject of the book The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven. I wanted to let you know that I agree, as does Alex himself, that the book is deceptive and biblically wrong…Thank you for standing for and teaching truth!
Says Beth, “These heaven books are dangerous and destructive!”
In addition, on Easter Sunday, Beth wrote a blog post titled, “The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven…not quite.” Here’s what she says in part:
I am not a medical professional. The letters after my name are M.O.M.  My lessons have been learned on the road of life.

This past week a movie based off the book Heaven Is for Real came out…and [I] am strongly opposed to the movie. Let’s just say that the Burpo book and the book that has Alex’s name listed as coauthor (The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven)…have a few things in common.

It is both puzzling and painful to watch the book, The Boy who Came Back from Heaven, not only continue to sell, but to continue, for the most part, to not be questioned…. (a few strategically placed Scriptures do not make a book biblically sound).

…When Alex first tried to tell a “pastor” how wrong the book was and how it needed [to be] stopped, Alex was told that the book was blessing people.

…Alex is the ONLY one who has endured not only a horrific set of injuries, but [has endured] having his journey capitalized on. His struggles are NOT past tense nor is the “story.” The ones making money from the book are NOT the ones staying up through the night, struggling for their breath, nor were they the ones at six years old, waking up unable to move or breathe….What I have walked through with Alex over the past nine years has nearly broken me personally and spiritually. I have wept so deeply for what I have watched my children go through, been made aware of how…biblically illiterate I was, which allowed me to be deceived! Sure, I had read my Bible A LOT, but I had not studied it. I had listened to teachings but probably enjoyed more ear tickling than I am still even aware of (for that I repent and have experienced deep sorrow). I am so thankful that God is so merciful and patient. I am thankful that God allowed me to go ahead and fall for the junk that I did (and it was that junk) for I am fully aware of what it feels like to be pulled in. There are many who are scamming and using the Word of God to do it. They are good, especially if you are not digging into your Bible and truly studying it.

….Alex did not write the book and it is not blessing him! Saying that it is blessing others …is…justification of wrong!

…Alex’s name and identity are being used against his wishes…Alex has tried to publically speak out against the book… he is opposed to [it] and knows [it] to be in error according to the Bible. How can this be going on? …How did it get this far?
I have spoken to Beth and Alex at length and believe with all my heart that the real story is not selling and sensationalism respecting heaven—but faith forged in the fires of adversity! And that story as yet has not been told.

Problems with the Gold Plates of the Book of Mormon

This article first appeared in Christian Research Journal, volume 34, number 02 (2011). For further information or to subscribe to the Christian Research Journal go to: http://www.equip.org

SYNOPSIS
Joseph Smith, Jr., the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS, or Mormons), claimed that after both God the Father and Jesus Christ visited him in 1820, an angel named Moroni, an ancient Nephite warrior, visited him in the fall of 1823. Smith was told by Moroni how he had buried gold plates fourteen centuries earlier not far from the Smith farm near Palmyra, New York. The angel said that they contained a record of ancient inhabitants and the “source from whence they sprang.” Smith claimed he was prohibited from retrieving the gold record for another four years. The story of the gold plates is an absolutely essential part of the Mormon narrative, for in the eyes of many Latter-day Saints, the coming forth of this record, and its subsequent translation into the Book of Mormon, legitimizes their belief that Smith was indeed a prophet sent by God to restore the true Christian faith lost long ago due to a “great apostasy.” The story of the gold plates cannot be underestimated, for without them there can be no Book of Mormon. Though many members of the LDS Church are very familiar with this story, the details surrounding how Smith obtained the plates, how he “translated” the plates, and how a few chosen men saw the plates, have compelled some within the LDS Church to challenge the main components of the account in order to make it sound more credible.

“Do you believe Joseph Smith had gold plates?” Hundreds of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints heading towards the grassy area below the majestic Manti temple hear my question. They are among thousands who come to Manti to watch the Mormon Miracle Pageant, an evening outdoor play held two weeks every year in this otherwise tiny town located in central Utah. Most of those walking by ignore my question; others, however, bravely agree without hesitation that their founding prophet, Joseph Smith, Jr., did indeed have plates of gold, and from those plates he translated what they believe is “the most correct of any book on earth,” the Book of Mormon. Many return from inside the temple grounds out of curiosity, wondering why I ask what appears to be an obviously simple question.

Billy Graham’s Daughter Warns America: Judgment is Coming

The second daughter of evangelist Billy Graham, Anne Graham-Lotz, is blowing the trumpet and sounding the alarm, following in the footsteps of her father and with the impassioned spirit of the prophet Joel.

“Blow the trumpet…sound the alarm…for the day of the Lord is coming. It is close at hand – Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God” (Joel 2:1,13)

Due to declining health of her husband, Dr. Dan Lotz, Anne has limited her speaking engagements and has been spending more time at their home in Montreat, North Carolina, caring for him. In December, 2012, Dr. Lotz was hospitalized and overcame a serious bout with a MRSA staph infection.

“As a result, I have had time to be quiet and listen more to the whispers of the Spirit,” she wrote in a letter dated June 20th to Pat Robertson. “He has revealed things to me in the stillness that I’m not sure I would have heard in my former busyness.” Anne believes we are racing toward a dramatic conclusion to world events. “One of the things He has impressed on me is that we are living at the end of human history as we know it,” she writes, based on her careful study of the Bible.

Last month, she was the honorary chair for the National Day of Prayer. She delivered a sobering message from Joel 1: “The Day of the Lord is at hand.”
Anne with her father

“It was a message warning that judgment is coming,” she writes.
Now she is calling people to pray, an assignment she says came indirectly from a Syrian pastor who attended the National Day of Prayer.
“In obedience, I am blowing the trumpet…sounding the alarm…issuing a national prayer initiative entitled “7 7 7: An Urgent Call to Prayer.”

“The Call is for God’s people to pray for each of the first seven days in the seventh month — July 1-7. Then on the 7th day, July 7, we are to pray and fast for 7 hours. The purpose is…

1. For God the Father to restrain, protect, and deliver His people from the evil that has come into our world.
2. For God the Son to be exalted, magnified, and glorified in His church, in our nation, and in our lives.
3. For God the Holy Spirit to fall on us in a fresh way, compelling the church to repent of sin and our nation to return to faith in the living God, resulting in a great national spiritual awakening.
Anne asks for many like-minded people to partner with her, by going to her website.

“I will provide a prayer I have written for each of the seven days to help unite us in one spirit and one voice as we cry out to God. Please be assured there is no other agenda in this initiative. This is not about promoting anything or anyone. This is all about calling God’s people together to pray, before it’s too late, and judgment falls on our nation.”
